Robert De Niro’s former assistant, Graham Chase Robinson, has filed a lawsuit against the actor claiming that he was both verbally abusive and made sexually charged comments toward her. According to a report from TMZ, Robinson claims the actor spoke to her in a “hostile, abusive, and intimidating” fashion. Furthermore, Robinson claims that he referred to her as “a b*tch” and “a brat” when she worked for him.
Along with claims of verbal abuse, Robinson alleges that De Niro would often joke about his Viagra prescription with her and tell her to “imagine him on a toilet”. In addition, Robinson claims that De Niro would stand by as his friend would slap her on the butt. Throughout the lawsuit, Robinson makes a number of other disturbing allegations of sexual harassment at the hands of the actor.
Most notably, Robinson has filed an angry voicemail from the actor into evidence. According to TMZ, De Niro can be heard yelling at Robinson.
In one voicemail, De Niro allegedly said, “You f*cking don’t answer my calls! How dare you??You’re about to be fired. How dare you?”
In another voicemail, De Niro allegedly states, “Don’t f*cking get angry with me because I’m pissed off because I didn’t get a simple thing that I need right now! You have got to be f*cking kidding me! You spoiled brat! F*ck you!”
Prior to Robinson’s lawsuit, De Niro sued her during the summer of 2019. His lawsuit claims that Robinson watched 55 episodes of Friends while at work and used company funds to order extravagant lunches for herself. De Niro was seeking $6 million in the suit.
Currently, Robinson is suing the actor gender-based harassment, back pay and damages in the amount of $12 million.
