Robert De Niro has become another target of the suspicious US parcel bombs that have been sent out. The actor received a package similar to those sent to CNN and senior Democrats at his New York Restaurant.
NBC cited police sources as saying that a device arrived at the Tribeca Grill earlier this morning.
A law enforcement official stated that the package along with its label was similar to the ones with bombs sent to Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama and others. Upon using an Xray it was revealed that the package contained a comparable device bearing a stark resemblance to a pipe bomb.
As De Niro has been another outspoken detractor of President Trump, it seems the targets are clear, yet the sender still remains ambiguous. De Niro spoke out against Trump during his Tony Awards speech in which he used profanity to dismiss the countries president. To
which, the president in response called De Niro a “very low IQ individual“.
The Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio had this to say about the packages, “We certainly don’t know whether they are here or elsewhere in the country. There is somebody by definition who is a serial bomber, yes, and a terrorist“.
While others seem to be hitting the issue, Trump takes to his Twitter shortly after news broke to pin the blame on the media. In Trump fashion, he ignores and makes no direct reference to the package found or any of the incidents but blames the reporting of his famous “Fake News” dilemma.

With this onslaught of packages being sent and Trump’s deflection tactics, it makes people wonder what is really going on? Some supporters of Trump state it as a Democratic plot to win votes in the mid-terms, with no evidence to support the claim. Within the coming days with the police and FBI cracking down on the packages hopefully the truth shall be revealed soon.
