Nike continues to find new ways to make headlines. After the announcement that the World Headquarters will be expanding by 3.8 Million Square Feet, the expectations from many is that we will see a lot more innovations being rolled out by the Swoosh. With the likes of athletes continuing to be the front runners to sport several of Nike’s footwear, it comes as no surprise that it is a football player, Rob Gronkowski to be more specific, to be the recipient of his own signature shoe. If not a signature shoe at least the man behind bringing forth a new silhouette in general for the Nike Trainer division.
Football players dawning their own signature shoe is nothing out of the ordinary here, we have seen players like Bo Jackson, Darrelle Revis and most recently Victor Cruz all have their own respective shoe. Recently Gronk, the star tight end of the New England Patriots, took the time to show off this cropped picture of what looks to be a new Nike Trainer. Sporting a medial strap, flywire and a vamp swoosh on the toe, the training shoe has potential to be either very good or bad. But considering we haven’t received a full look yet we can’t make a decision just yet.
Check out the picture above again and down in the comments let us know whether you’ll be interested in seeing the finished version. Once more information is provided we will update you guys accordingly.
