Just announced today, Rihanna is reportedly set to join the cast of the upcoming “Ocean’s 8” film that will be fueled by several leading ladies such as Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and more, as reported by Deadline.com.
Warner Bros has firmed an October start date in New York forOcean’s Eight, the female-driven caper spinoff directed by Gary Ross, and the studio is closing with its principal cast. Aside from the previously identified Sandra Bullockand Cate Blanchett, deals are close with Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina.
This news doesn’t come too far after the announcement that Rihanna will playing the role of Marion Crane in season 5 of “Bates Motel.” Already making herself known as a force within the music industry, we can’t wait to see how she delivers in the world of Hollywood within the next year’s time.
