Rihanna has gained a lot of press lately due to her Fenty brand, but this time around, the news isn’t so pleasant.
The Barbados songstress is reportedly suing her father for using the trademarked name Fenty for his entertainment company. According to court documents obtained by New York Daily News, the decision was made without her permission and “misrepresented” the notion that him and a business partner can “act on her behalf.”
Although Fenty is her father’s last name, the singer uses the name for her Fenty Beauty empire as well as collaborations like those with Puma.
The singer claims her father is misleading the public into thinking she is associated with his entertainment company.
