
Rihanna now joins the growing list of artists making sure their music is not played at President Trump’s rallies.
After being made aware that “Don’t Stop the Music” was being played at a Trump rally on Twitter, Rihanna was sure to make it known that she wants nothing to do with him. “Not for much longer…me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies,” she said, thanking the fan for the heads up.

She has sent Trump an official cease and desist letter, stating that Trump using Rihanna’s music at his events is “improper,” because he never received her consent.
Rihanna’s letter to Trump comes only a week after Pharrell Williams took legal action against the President for playing his hit song, “Happy,” at a rally following the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. Other artists who have made sure Trump no longer uses their music include Adele, The Rolling Stones, Queen, R.E.M., The O’Jays and Prince’s estate.
The pop songstress has also taken to social media to encourage her followers to get out and vote.
