On “U Don’t Know”, Jay-Z famously rapped, “I could sell water to a well.” Given Jay-Z’s business acumen, it’s possible. Furthermore, it’s even more possible that he passed his business knowledge on to his Roc Nation protégé, Rihanna. The Pop and R&B legend has made her way by selling everything from number one hits to beauty supplies. Going forward, it appears that the platinum selling artist has another business venture in her future.
According to a report from The Grape Juice, the pop star will be launching an assortment of products from Project LOUD France. The report states, “Sources close to the star reveal that her Project LOUD France empire will see her sell office supplies, garden ware, tech gadgets and home decor as well as clothes!”
The report comes just a few days after there was an apparent leak in Rihanna’s camp. Over the weekend, a number of reference tracks, recordings and unreleased songs appeared on streaming services without her permission. The collection of songs has since been taken down, but no legal action has been taken as of yet. In the meantime, we’ll all continue to wait for the next official release from Rihanna.
