The Minnesota Timberwolves are derailed with injuries this year. It wasn’t really like they were looking forward to make the playoffs with Kevin Love leaving in the summer, but they would have done much better than they currently are in the Western Conference with Nikola Pekovic, Ricky Rubio, and Kevin Martin all healthy. Nikola Pekovic & Kevin Martin missed over 2 months with injuries, and have returned for the Timberwolves in the past couple weeks now they’re beloved point guard is returning, Ricky Rubio.
Rubio is set to return Monday against the Dallas Mavericks after sustaining an ankle injury on November 7th against the Orlando Magic. Rubio has missed 43 games now. Honestly all the Timberwolves injuries will definitely help them in the long run, because Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins have developed so much because they’ve basically been forced to go out and play heavy minutes. We can see that Wiggins and LaVine are now growing into good NBA player. WE CAN FINALLY SEE LOB PASSES BETWEEN THESE 3. With Rubio’s passing I wouldn’t be surprised if the Wolves have highlight dunks every night.
