
It took only Ricky Rubio 77 games to get his first career triple double, he had 21 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists on a 24 point victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Rubio’s highlight night is one of the few things the team can get excited about these days, injuries to half the roster at different times of the season killed the Wolves chances at sneaking into the playoffs.
One year after suffering an ACL injury when colliding with Lakers guard Kobe Bryant at a Wolves home game, Rubio has fully recovered and his recent play has show it. Averaging 9.2 points and 7.3 assists in 29 minutes for the season.
The Wolves are 12th in the Western Conference (beating only the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans and Sacramento Kings) with a record of 22 wins and 39 losses.
