With 2015 arguably being one of the best years that Hip-Hop has seen in a few years, notably missing from the action was the boss himself, Rick Ross. In what seems to be becoming the new normal, Rick Ross took most by surprise with the release of a new record that would find itself having a home on Rick’s Black Dollar mixtape. Now, with the release of the mixtape under his belt, and the release of his new album coming soon, Mr. Ross isn’t slowing down on shelling out new bars for fans to hear. This time, Rick puts his touch on Post Malone’s ‘White Iverson.’
Leaving some of the original’s best elements in tact, including one of Post Malone’s original verses, MMG’s leader effortlessly floats over the smooth and melodic production. Shining once again on a record where the production isn’t at the forefront, hopefully we get to hear more of this style on his forthcoming LP.
