On Tuesday night The Dallas Mavericks defeated The Toronto Raptors 99-92, but getting the victory comes with some drama between Head Coach Rick Carlisle and Point Guard Rajon Rondo. Carlisle tried to get Rondo’s attention during regulation which Rondo ignores. Forced to call timeout Carlisle and Rondo then exchanged words as players came towards the bench after Carlisle called a timeout.
With Rondo being a free agent this off season and he’s currently not under contract with Dallas I’m sure the rumors will be running rampant tomorrow.
Hopefully for Dallas it is just a slight disagreement that the two can fix behind closed doors, but Rondo has been rumored to be hard to deal with (one of the reasons why Boston unloaded him). Carlisle though is one Coach I’d want leading the way through any drama he’s one of the better Coaches in the league that can handle almost any personality in my opinion.
