Richie Incognito may be done with his time in the league. The player stated this morning that he is done with football altogether. Incognito tweeted this early today in a report that he was retiring.

He also had a bit to say on top of the tweet in a quote to NFL writer Vic Carucci:
“I’m done. That’s it. It’s been a long career. Went to the doctor. My liver and kidneys are shutting down. The stress is killing me. It’s just about doing what’s right. I just want to be in the Hall of Fame,” Incognito said.
While this all seems to point in one direction Richie Incognito also had this to say to Sports Illustrated’s Peter King
BREAKING: @68INCOGNITO tells me he is strongly considering retiring. May return for one last season, at the right price.

Incognito was openly unhappy when the Buffalo Bills restructured his contract, which amounted to a $1.67M pay cut, but maintains that this was a separate problem and didn’t influence his thought process on retirement. He’s now set to make $4.75M in 2018
Incognito has had his ups and downs during his tenure in the league. He has made money and played very well in the last three years making a Pro Bowl in each season. This also come after he was out of football all of 2014 after an in lockerroom bullying scandal broke during his time with the Miami Dolphins in 2013.
