Well look who wants back in the NBA. Richard Hamilton no less!
In an interview with CBS Sports he talks about possibly retuning to the NBA after a 14 year stint in Washington, most famously Detroit and lastly Chicago before being waived by the Bulls in July of 2013.
Yeah, yeah. I think for me, personally, I have to see how my body responds after the summer. I want to play another year and hopefully get an opportunity to play on a team with a chance to win a title.
Hamilton was also asked if any teams have showed interest in him.
This season? Yes, yes. I’ve had a couple calls from teams.
He wouldn’t say what teams but that’s quite promising. He is 36 years old and the last team he played for waived him but that shouldn’t stop him.
He also mentioned in the interview that he dreamt about bossing the NBA and then retiring in Europe as a kid. That is possible for him now but who knows what will happen?
