In a recent interview, Rich The Kid stated that he was setting out to have the greatest album of 2018. Last night, he set out to prove his statement true with the release of his debut album, The World Is Yours. The fourteen track album comes complete with guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Future, Khalid, Jay Critch, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Quavo, Offset, Lil’ Wayne, Trippie Redd and Swae Lee. The project also comes complete with Rich The Kid’s first platinum single, “New Freezer” and his song, “Plug Walk”, which currently sits at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The project also comes with a bit of turmoil as well. The Atlanta based rapper’s wife recently filed for divorce and accused him of cheating on her with a number of women. In addition, the rapper has also been in the headlines for his brewing beef with Lil Uzi Vert. On the album’s last song, “Dead Friends”, Rich The Kid seemingly calls out Lil Uzi Vert by saying, “Motherf*ck the fame, I done came to the vault /All them dead friends/You a middleman/You a little man/Your money getting shorter.” Lil Uzi has yet to respond, but last night G Herbo previewed a remix to “Who Run It” with none other than Lil Uzi Vert. Could it be a response?
