Rex Chapman didn’t average many steals during his NBA career, but definitely broke his career high with this one.
The former NBA guard pleaded guilty to stealing $15K worth of Apple products from an Apple Store in Arizona. His charges could be dropped to misdemeanors at his sentencing on September 25, where he is expected to receive probation. He has agreed to repay the store for the merchandise and will serve 750 hours of community service.
Chapman was arrested last September after Scottsdale Police determined he stole items valued at $15,128.30, in which he pawned off.
A first round pick in the 1988 draft out of Kentucky, Chapman played 12 seasons on the league with stops in Charlotte, Miami, Washington, and Phoenix.
