Thanks to Interscope we have been able to give Diddy-Dirty Money’s album „Last Train To Paris” a listen one week before its release. I honestly did not know what to expect from the album because I am not a big fan of Diddy but I really enjoyed “Hello Goodmorning” and “Loving You No More”.
So when I started listening I already loved the intro. It’s always good to have a nice start, a positive sign. After that we get to hear great productions by Swizz Beatz, Danja, Darkchild, Alex Da Kid, to name a few. Diddy-Dirty Money also recruited a lot of A-list performers such as Usher, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Grace Jones, Lil Wayne etc.
It is sort of questionable if that many guest appearances are really necessary because Kalenna and Dawn Richard do a great job vocally. On the other side it is not really striking as the album is cohesive and does not get interrupted by the featured artists. The only song I rather dislike is the Trey Songz assisted “Your Love”.
My personal highlights are “Someone to Love Me”, “Loving You No More”, “Looking For Love” and “I Know”.
“Last Train To Paris” is in stores Dec 13th, 2010.
