North Carolina’s Reuben Vincent is back with a new visual for “Here We Go Again” from his latest project, Boy Meets World. Relaxing with his girl, the Jamla Records artist raps about the ups and downs of making things work with your significant other.
“I touch you but not abuse ya/Never wanna lose ya/Your best friend, your brother, and your husband & your partner/Some like Mr. Sean, B Knowles Carter/When he rose, father, gifted us a beautiful black woman in a garden, a flower,” he raps.
“Here I go again, we arguing and sh*t/I tell a couple lies & she falling for my shi*t/She throw my clothes & she calling all her friends like/F*ck this n*gga then she back with me again,” he adds in the second verse.
Vincent is just the latest artist to emerge out of North Carolina. Working with 9th Wonder as a teenager, Vincent is ready to step into his own as a young, Black man making it in this complicated world. Boy Meets World offers his insight about maturing as a young man, growing as an artist and balancing his personal life. Check out the full video for “Here We Go Again” above.
