This is not the first time that Foster has faced charges of domestic violence. In February of 2018, Foster was arrested and charged after a similar incident with Ennis. After Ennis recanted her accusations on the stand, the charges against Foster were dropped. After the most recent incident, Ennis stated that she lied about falsely accusing Foster on the stand that day in court and that Foster had physically assaulted her on multiple occasions.
same woman who accused him before and recanted, when the niners crossed their fingers and hopes for the best. guess they couldn’t do that this time. https://t.co/qW6IKxhyGk

The Sanfransico 49ers cut Foster after his second incident of alleged domestic violence. He was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list and The Washington Redskins picked him up off waivers. It is yet to be determined how the NFL will deal with Foster now that the charges against him have been dropped.
