Report: Phoenix Suns Ready To Make A Deal For Kevin Love
The Phoenix Suns reportedly want parts of the Kevin Love sweepstakes and are willing to use their current back court tandem Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe as trading pieces, along with draft picks. Dragic was a member of this year’s All-NBA third team and made for an extremely dynamic back court alongside Bledsoe. Phoenix owns the 14th, 18th, 27th, and 50th picks in this year’s draft.
Even though Flip Saunders and the Timberwolves have been adamant about their desire to stick it out with Love next season, it might be prudent to at least consider the possibility of acquiring one or both of Phoenix’s exciting young guards. Many feel that Love’s departure from Minnesota is close to inevitable when he is able to explore free agency next summer. The Timberwolves own the 13th pick in this year’s draft.
