The Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic gave the team the bad news yesterday afternoon he would not be resigning with the team to listen to offers in free agency. Dragic’s agent did give a list of destinations he would like to be traded to if he was dealt shortly after the team was informed. Apparently The Suns are ignoring the list since they have listened to offers from other teams rich with assets such as young players or draft picks According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The Suns are also including Brother Zoran Dragic in the trade talks as well who was signed in the off season to a two year deal hoping it would help convince Goran to stay.
The Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, and Houston Rockets have been the teams most active on the Dragic trade talks Wojnarowski reported. The disgruntled Point Guard can scratch off Los Angeles Lakers and The New York Knicks off his list considering the assets they would need to make a deal are just not there at the moment. Obviously things are starting to gain some steam in the Dragic trade talks I fully expect The Suns to cut their losses and take the best offer available instead of opting to lose him in free agency.
