BREAKING NEWS! Ok not really, but according to a report by RealGM.com, Lebron James is getting frustrated with Kevin Love “for not getting with the program.”
Love, who will be a free agent at season’s end, was traded from the Timberwolves to Cleveland this past summer in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, something that was encouraged by James.

Since then, Cleveland’s season has been up and down, and might possibly make a great TV drama. The team is 46-26, and sits in second place of the Eastern Conference, but chemistry between the teams’ star players doesn’t seem to be great.
“It’s fine, you know, we’re not best friends,” Love said. “We’re not hanging out every day, but we see each other every day, whether at the practice facility, whether on the road or going to a game, so I think our relationship is also evolving. I can say the same with each and every coach, coach Blatt, and each and every player on the team, but that’s part of the NBA, and as I’ve said all along, as long as it’s for the greater good, then it’s fine, and I’m sure he’s going to have me in the next picture. We’ll see.”
So they’re not bff’s, which I’m sure has most people freaking out, but how many people are friends with all of their co-workers? Not really such a big deal, but then again in a sport like basketball, teamwork and chemistry are vital for success.

While on “The Dan Patrick Show”, Love also endorsed Thunder guard and former UCLA teammate Russell Westbrook as this years MVP, and not his current teammate Lebron. In all honesty, Westbrook deserves it over Lebron, but again you have the whole chemistry thing again.
Lebron didn’t seem to take offense to Love’s MVP comments saying:
“I don’t really think too much of it, really,” James said. “I don’t really get involved in that. I think the voters are going to decide who is the MVP. I think what Russ has been doing, his numbers have been pretty crazy keeping those guys afloat in the West in his play. Steph Curry can make a case, for sure, what he’s been doing, James Harden and myself, as well. So, Kevin has his own opinion of who he believes is the MVP. No one should fault him for that.”
Take all of this how you want and make your own conclusions. The Cavs right now are the second best team in the East behind the Hawks, and really have no other competition.
Tune in next week for the reality show drama that is the Cleveland Cavaliers chemistry issues.
