I really don’t see the point in this interest the Lakers reportedly have in Michael Beasley. Sure he gets a couple of buckets for you here and there but what they need right now is defence. And Beasley isn’t exactly known for his defensive prowess.
But nevertheless, according to Kurt Helin of ProBasketballTalk the Lakers have given Michael Beasley a workout.
The former No. 2 pick can get you a few points (and he was more efficient than you would think last season) but every other part of his game had Minnesota then Phoenix then Miami throwing in the towel on him.
Exactly what I was saying. If Miami, the team that initially drafted him couldn’t deal with him, then the Lakers certainly won’t be able to.
