UPDATE(06/02/2016): The Memphis Grizzlies have reached an agreement to join team as associate head coach, per Adrian Wojnarowski:

The Memphis Grizzlies finally have a new Head Coach in David Fizdale, former Miami Heat Head Assistant Coach. Fizdale brings his expertise to a Grizzlies team that needs some sense of direction after getting swept by the Spurs in the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs this year. After accepting his 4-year deal with Memphis, Fizdale is now in the process of creating his staff that will help him develop this Grizzlies team.
According to John Martin of ESPN:
Hearing that former Rockets coach J.B. Bickerstaff was in Memphis last night meeting with new Grizzlies coach David Fizdale.

Now there’s no confirmation about Bickerstaff joining the staff, but he would be a great addition to a newly hired Head Coach. Bickerstaff was the head assistant coach in Houston until Kevin McHale was fired and he was kept their as interim head coach for the Rockets this season. The Rockets ending up losing to the Golden State Warriors in 5 games, but Bickerstaff tried his best to keep that disgruntled Rockets team together through thick and thin. With the chemistry issues in Houston there really was no way that any Coach would be able to keep the team together, but Bickerstaff had a respected effort around the league, and because of that is now getting looked at by Fizdale. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see someone else from the coaching staff of Miami to head to Memphis to help Fizdale as well.
