First they went for Timofey Mozgov and although some reports say the deal was close, a deal never occurred. Now there are reports that they are very interested in getting Tayshaun Prince. According to Brian Windhorst, who was on ESPN Cleveland said ” “I expect the #Cavs to make a trade between Dec 15-Jan 10 with their trade exception included, I’ve heard there’s been interest from the #Cavs in Tayshaun Prince, who’s fallen out of the rotation in Memphis.” It’s a very interesting trade but who would they offer up? Possibly a couple picks, since Tayshaun Prince has been moved down in the lineup.
If the Cavaliers do get Tayshaun Prince they will look even more scary as they will have two veteran defensive stoppers in Prince and Marion. The Cleveland Cavaliers have now won 6 in a row, beating the Raptors friday night and they hope to climb up the Eastern Conference.
