In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, Carolina based artists have kept things going lately. South Carolina’s Nick Grant dropped “Old Town Vegas” with Punch and then followed it up with “Karma” featuring Tweet. Not long afterwards, DaBaby dropped a short film and single called “Find My Way” featuring B. Simone. Not to mention, J. Cole’s Dreamville imprint dropped the video for “LamboTruck” featuring Cozz, Reason and Childish Major. Now, Charlotte based artist Renni Rucci is back to close out the week with new music.
Renni Rucci has dropped a new record called “Solid B*tch” produced by London J. Over London J’s production, the rapper tells us she’s just about done with her man after being lied to and cheated on.
“I’m sorry I ain’t gone help you/You lost a solid b*tch/Stay the f*ck off my phone with all that sorry sh*t/Tell the h*es they can keep you and that sorry d*ck,” she raps.
The record serves as a follow-up to February’s “B*tch Do It” produced by Darnell Carr Jr. Since then, she’s been building up her case to be on the 2020 XXL Freshman List. Check out her latest single, “Solid B*tch” above to see if you think she should be on the list.
