RPG featured on Kehlani’s mixtape While We Wait debuted at No. 20 on Billboard’s Hot R& Songs chart. Other songs from the anticipated drop broke through charts and the project itself held down the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B album chart.
Both Kehlani and 6lack present modern R&B styles rooted in traditional rhythm and blues sounds. Together, the two artists deliver a smooth, melancholic vibe, taking a look at a troubled relationship.
