When the Oklahoma City Thunder acquired Dion Waiters from the Cleveland Cavaliers, there was talks about Waiters being the 6th Man replacement plan for if and when Reggie Jackson departs from the Thunder.
That departure for Jackson looks like it might happen sooner rather than later.
From Frank Isola of the New York Daily News
OKC was close to trading Reggie Jackson to Denver, according to a source. He is expected to be moved before the deadline.

Jackson has expressed his frustrations about the trade talks surrounding him and his desire to start in the league so talks of his departure are not that much of a surprising fact to learn.
The interesting thing is what Jackson would be worth to a team. Trading him away to a team like the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets or Portland Trail Blazers, would make sense because they’re all teams that need some additional scoring for their impending playoff push. He apparently was almost sent to the Nuggets in a deal that I could only assume centered around the Thunder adding some additional youth and depth in the front court along with a draft pick.
A possible deal for the Nuggets and Thunder may have centered in the form of a guy like Jusuf Nurkic, who’s been a pleasant surprise this season or even a deal with Jackson and Kendrick Perkins for Javale McGee might have been brought up.
What this may mean more than anything though is that Jackson is all but done with his time in a Thunder uniform.
