The Washington Wizards struggled throughout the first half of the ball game, being outscored 34-24 in the first half, but they dominated the 2nd half, escaping the Verizon center with a W 107-103.
John Wall had his usual 27 points and 11 assists, but what really helped the Wizards get this game was Rasual Butler who got 18 points tonight. The Detroit Pistons played a good game as Brandon Jennings lit up the Wizards for 32 points and 10 assists. He even did a couple nice moves, but not nice enough to get them the W.
Analysis: This is the first time in 40 years the Washington Wizards started their season winning 6 of their 8 games. This win makes them 6-2 and just almost at the top of the east. They played a good game down the stretch, but they have been slacking at the start of games and they don’t seem to get things going until after the 1st half. For example, remember the Toronto game they got demolished? Yeah, Wiz got to step it up in the beginning of the game.
