RECAP: San Antonio Demolishes Oklahoma City 112-77 In Game 2; Spurs 2-0
The San Antonio Spurs used a relentless and efficient attack to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-77 to take a 2-0 series lead in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. Tony Parker had a team-high 22 points for San Antonio. Danny Green had 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting from three-point range.
Nothing the Thunder did was knocking the Spurs from their comfort zone. After trailing 26-24 going into the second quarter, San Antonio used a late run to finish a 34-point quarter to Oklahoma City’s 18, giving the Spurs a 58-44 advantage at halftime. Oklahoma City shot under 40% from the field and an abysmal 2-20 from three-point range. The Thunder only shot a grand total of 10 free throws, making 5, while the Spurs shot 21-23 from the line. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook finished with only 15 points each for Oklahoma City, combining for 13-for-40 from the field.
