The Toronto Raptor are hot, and they are now 13-2 and STILL the best in the eastern conference. They have moved to 4-1 on the road which is a franchise best start, and now have begun to silence doubter. The Raptors had 7 players in double figures, including Demar DeRozan who had 27 points and the home-town boy Lou Williams who had 22 points. Kyle Lowry had a double-double and a season high of 13 assists to finish off the Atlanta Hawks 124-111.
Analysis: The Toronto Raptors are now 13-2, the last 4 teams to be 13-2 in the east went of to AT LEAST the eastern conference finals. If you know anything about the Raptors, you know they have never reached the eastern conference finals, and that would be a huge milestone for the franchise. I know that is really pushing it for the Raptors and its only 15 games into an 82 game long season, but the Raptors are firing on all cylinders and they can compete with any team in the league now. Now, their schedule becomes a lot harder, having a lot of the games in December on the Road against western conference teams, so they will be definitely tested throughout December, let’s see if they are up for the challenge.
