
The All-Star campaign for Brandon Knight continues as he lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 98-86 victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Bucks are now 8-7, over .500 on the season and the the first team in NBA history to finish a season with a winning percentage under .250 and follow that up with a start of at least .500 the next season.
Knight had 20 points and 8 assists to lead Milwaukee. O.J. Mayo, who made his first start of the season, added 17 points to help the Bucks avoid their first three-game slide of the season. Rookie phenom Jabari Parker contributed 14 points and 9 rebounds. Big Man Larry Sanders has 12 points and 9 rebounds but all of his scoring came in the first half. Ersan Ilyasova came off the bench for 13 points and 9 rebounds.
Andre Drummond had 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Pistons, which was his season high. Drummond was averaging 8.7 points coming into the night, but shot 11 of 15 from the floor. Greg Monroe added 15 points and 8 boards and Josh Smith had 11 points and 10 rebounds. D.J. Augustin started for the injured Brandon Jennings and had 11 points with 7 assists.
Detroit has lost five in a row and eight of nine.
Detroit Pistons are 3-11. Milwaukee Bucks are 8-7.
