RECAP: Pelicans Beat Hornets 100-91 At Home
The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Charlotte Hornets 100-91 at home on Tuesday night. Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Gary Neal had a team-high 21 points off the bench for Charlotte. Al Jefferson finished with 20 points.
Austin Rivers and Ryan Andersen contributed for a combined 28 out of the Pelicans’ 30 bench points. Charlotte continues to see their big free agency acquisition Lance Stephenson struggle from the floor. Stephenson had only 2 points on 1-for-6 shooting. Outside of Neal and Jefferson, Kemba Walker was the only scorer in double digits for Charlotte with 11.
New Orleans is now 2-2 and Charlotte is 1-3.
