RECAP: Oklahoma City Rallies For 112-101 Win; Series Tied 1-1
The Oklahoma City Thunder rallied and recovered from a blowout Game 1 loss for a 112-101 win against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 32 points (17 in the first quarter), 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Russell Westbrook tallied 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for Oklahoma City.
The Thunder were more imposing on both ends of the floor and jumped out to 30+ point quarters in the first and third quarters. Chris Paul (17 points, 11 assists) wasn’t able to find his Game 1 rhythm, committing two fouls early in the first quarter. No member of the Clippers scored 20 points and they lost the rebounding battle (52-36) for the second straight game. J.J. Redick finished with a team-high 18 points for the Clippers.
