
On a night were Dwight Howard sat out to rest his banged up knee, James Harden did not disappoint in a win against a struggling Knicks team 91-86 pushing Houston’s record to 11-3 on the year.
Carmelo Anthony went out late in the 2nd quarter holding his back in pain, which was later diagnosed as back spasms and did not return. Carmelo finished with 14 points & 7 rebounds. Jose Calderon finished with 9 points and 5 assist. Amare contributed with 8 points, 8 rebounds, & 3 blocks. Also Iman Shumpert had an efficient game with 8 points, 5 assist, 6 rebounds.
James Harden stole the show finishing with 36 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, 3 steals, & 1 block and tied Lebron for the most 30 point plus games this season with (6). Donatas Motiejunas gave the Rockets a spark starting in the place of Terrence Jones who is nursing a leg nerve injury finishing with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Trevor Ariza is starting to come back to earth from a shooting percentage standpoint. Ariza shot 3-10 for 30% from the field, but finished with 10 points, 3 assist, 5 rebounds, & more importantly had 3 steals.
