Milwaukee Bucks broke a 16-game road losing streak with an 87-81 victory over the injury-riddled Indiana Pacers which is also their first win in Indiana in 4 years. The Bucks had a nice contribution from their point guard Brandon Knight who hit a huge shot to secure a victory for Milwaukee.
Brandon Knight had 23 points and 7 boards while hitting a huge jumper with 22 seconds left, as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Indiana Pacers 87-81. Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 11 points and 3 rebounds for the Bucks and didn’t get play at the point tonight. O.J. Mayo contributed 9 off the bench and rookie sensation Jabari Parker had 10 points with 3 rebounds. The Bucks led 43-38 at the half and opened the third quarter on a 10-0 run over the Pacers. Milwaukee led by as many as 17 in this game.
The Pacers shot 39.7 percent while still playing without 3 of their most important starters, Paul George, George Hill and David West. Chris Copeland scored 10 of his 19 points in the third quarter to help Indiana rally within 69-61. Roy Hibbert contributed 16 points with 7 boards and 12 points but were very early in the first half for him.
The Bucks haven’t won on the road since February of this calendar year and were 8 losses away from matching the longest road skid in franchise history, set way back in 1992.
