The Dallas Mavericks faced the Charlotte Hornets tonight in what seemed to be the most competitive team they faced in 3 games but it was the same result. The Mavericks dominated the Charlotte Hornets 107-80 tonight. They handed the Timberwolves a slap two nights ago, and they decapitated the 76ers by 53 points just two nights before that. 6 Mavericks were in Double Figures while Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons had 18 and 17 points, respectively. The Hornets struggled overall with Al Jefferson only having 6 points through 25 minutes of playing.
Analysis: The Charlotte Hornets had a LOT of hype coming into the season, and by a LOT I mean, playoffs, second round type of hype. They have NOT lived up to their expectations. They are 4-7 and its still early in the season so they can definitely salvage their reputation. The Dallas Mavericks on the other hand are definitely taking advantage of a weak start of a schedule and when they play well like they have been, they are a huge threat in the west.
