Slow is an understatement when talking about this game. At the end of the 1st quarter the Atlanta Hawks led the ball game 17-16. This was a pretty even affair as the Hawks were led by Paul Milsap who had 19 points and the Knicks were led by Carmelo with 25. The hawks made 10 3 pointers, with Kyle Korver and Milsap having 6 together ( 3 each). With all that, the Knicks lost out on this one 91-85, at home.
Analysis: The Knicks are 2-6, should we start getting worried? Going into the season, Knicks fans have had a lot to deal with. Melo was about to leave, but he stuck it out with the Knicks (He’s probably rethinking his decision). In this game it was CLEAR, J.R. Smith does not want to run the triangle offence. If the New York Knicks want to have any post-season action other then free agency, they should figure something out to build some chemistry on this team. Maybe bowling? Anything will help.
