In quite possibly the most exciting game of the year, a bevy of emotions were shared from start to finish between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. It was Jason Kidd’s return to coach against a Nets franchise that he played for over 7 years and coached for 1 season. It couldn’t have ended any more dramatic then in triple overtime as the Bucks pulled out a win 122-118.
Milwaukee pulled off this victory behind a strong 18 point and 8 assist night for Brandon Knight, which included a missed, wide open, fast break layup and also a clutch 3 pointer to tie the game up in double overtime. Jabari Parker had his first 20 point game of his NBA career scoring 23 points with 7 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 18 points with 12 rebounds on the night. O.J. Mayo is acclimating well to his role off the bench, scoring 21 points with 7 rebounds and also off the bench, Ersan Ilyasova had 14 points and 5 rebounds.
The Milwaukee Bucks overcame Brandon Knight’s shocking missed layup at the end of the first overtime. Seriously, he missed a very easy layup.

Yes, Knight missed THAT and his teammates reacted like this. Look for Jerryd Bayless, the bald guy with the headband, who has the best reaction.

Then Knight redeemed himself, not once but twice and made the tying 3-pointer in the second overtime and the clinching free throws with 5.6 seconds to go in the third overtime, allowing the Bucks to leave with a victory that he should’ve given them earlier in the game.
