RECAP: Dallas Makes A Stand For 113-111 Win To Force Game 7
The Dallas Mavericks made some late free throws and held off an 11-4 Spurs run after the Mavericks earned a 102-94 lead with three minutes remaining to win 113-111 and force a deciding Game 7. Monta Ellis had a team-high 29 points and Dirk Nowitzki finished with 22 points for Dallas.
Dallas’ bench had a +12 advantage thanks to 34 combined points from Vince Carter (13) Devin Harris (11) and DeJuan Blair (10 points, 14 rebounds). The Mavericks were also +9 on free throws and started the game as strong as they finished, scoring 34 points in the first quarter and 37 in the fourth. Tony Parker had a team-high 22 points for San Antonio.
Game 7 of this series will be on Sunday in San Antonio on ABC.
