20,000 points. What a milestone. Carmelo Anthony has reached this milestone and is on an exclusive list with 40 other players.
Melo is sixth-youngest player to score 20,000 points in NBA history according to Elias, behind LeBron, Kobe, Wilt, MJ and Oscar Robertson

Now that happened very early in the game. As well as the 15 point lead the Knicks once had in the first half. The lead at half time was 52-50 in favor of New York.
Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 1:23 remaining, and the New York Knicks beat the Charlotte Hornets 96-93. Iman Shumpert added 15 points and 4 assists. Amar’e Stoudemire had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds while coming off the bench for the now 2-1 Knicks, who won their second straight.
Al Jefferson had 21 points with 4 boards and Gary Neal added 17 points coming off the bench for the current 1-2 Charlotte Hornets, who lost their second straight. Both losses, Point Guard Kemba Walker had a chance to tie it or win it after he did both of those things in the first game this year.
Charlotte’s guard Michael Kidd-Gilchrist fell weird late in the first quarter and it made quite the thud. He did not return to the game. Check out the video below.
