The Milwaukee Bucks are exploring moving multiple players before the start of the 2017-18 regular season, according to a report from ESPN.com. Rashad Vaughn and John Henson are among those who have been included in talks:
Milwaukee has been working to trade several players to clear salary-cap space, including guard Rashad Vaughn and center John Henson, league sources said. The Bucks have been willing to attach a second-round pick in offers for Vaughn, league sources said.
A report from ESPN’s Zach Lowe earlier in the month indicated the team has also explored trading veteran forward Mirza Teletovic.
Vaughn, who was selected by the Bucks in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft, averaged 3.5 points in 41 games with the team last season.
Henson, the longest tenured player on the Bucks’ roster, appeared in 58 games last season. He held per-game averages of 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds and has remained with the club since being drafted at No. 14 in 2012.
Milwaukee’s roster features a young core consisting of 2017 Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, probable 2018 Most Valuable Player candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo, and young players Jabari Parker, Khris Middleton and Thon Maker.
