As if things couldn’t get any worse for Knicks’ guard Raymond Felton: he is having his worst year as a Knick; was the subject of trade rumors; fans clowning him for his weight, saying it is attributing to his poor play; wife files for divorce.
Now, NY Post is reporting that Felton allegedly pointed a gun at a woman said to be his girlfriend.
A lawyer for Mr. Felton‘s wife came to turn in a Belgian-made FN Herstal pistol. Shortly after Ariane Raymondo-Felton came to the precinct late last night to make a statement. The Knicks point guard remains in police custody.
He’s being charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a firearm, that carry felony tags, and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, which is a misdemeanor. As of now, Raymond hasn’t made a statement.
UPDATE: Raymond Felton is free on 25k bail. He can’t have no contact with his wife Ariane Raymondo-Felton.
