
Former NBA sharpshooter Ray Allen recently called in to ‘The Dan Patrick Show’, discussing a variety of topics ranging from his decision to retire, potential ‘He Got Game 2’ story ideas and more.
During the call, Allen also revealed who the last team was to contact him before retiring: The Milwaukee Bucks. He confirmed that Cleveland had expressed interest in his services, but reiterated he just wasn’t fully interested in forcing his family to relocate again.
Allen also touched on what happened during the summer of 2012, when contract discussions between him and the Celtics broke down. He mentions to Dan Patrick he’s well aware of Paul Pierce’s latest comments, and dove into their current and past relationship:
