Ray Allen is starting to sound a lot like my grandparents: A guy who is up there in age, living in South Florida enjoying the sunny weather and retired life.
It sounds like the greatest three-point shooter in NBA history is enjoying that life style and might not want to leave it. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst is reporting that Ray Allen is leaning towards retirement instead of signing with another NBA team.
Many teams have been reported as suitors for the 39 year-old’s services, but he doesn’t really seem to be interested in them. Allen has been reported to be staying in shape for a possible chance to make a run with a contending team during the second half of the season.
Whether he decides to come back for that run, remains in doubt.
