Ray Allen has still not made a decision whether he’ll return or not. Reports are saying that the Cavs have given up.
And it’s fair enough. They have the firepower, it’s just chemistry. They don’t really need Ray Allen. But the Bulls. They are apparently still interested in the future Hall of Fame sharpshooter. And according to RealGM, Ray Allen is due to make a little visit. But calm down everybody. The trip has nothing to do with the Bulls.
Free agent Ray Allen is visiting Chicago this week and has been spotted on several social media platforms, but his agent Jim Tanner told RealGM: “Nothing to do with the Bulls.”
Allen remains a free agent deciding on his NBA future after playing for the Miami Heat over the past two seasons of his 18-year career.
If he ends up retiring. I will stand up and clap a great career. If he goes to the Bulls or another squad. I wouldn’t have any reservations about it.
This is a perfect case of “the ball being in his court”. This is 100% his choice. The Bulls can wait. They’re going to get the chip regardless.
