In his debut playing for his hometown team, Cornerback Kyle Fuller suffered a knee injury in the 24-9 win against the New York Jets. The MRI revealed a torn ACL which means he is out for the remainder of the season, head coach John Harbaugh announced on Monday morning.

In the last two minutes of the game, Jets’ quarterback Joe Flacco looked for Elijah Moore for a touchdown. Fuller was in the defense and as Moore caught the ball he fell to the ground. The score was erased due to the refs calling an offensive penalty on the play and Fuller had to be helped off the field. He recorded three tackles before exiting.
His injury adds to the team’s struggles at the position with three-time Pro-Bowler Marcus Peters still recovering from, also, a torn ACL.
In addition, the team also lost OT Ja’Wuan James, who was carted off during the second quarter of the game, with a torn Achilles. Back in 2021, James tore his Achilles while working on his own, which led to the Broncos cutting him.
