On a Monday night in the NBA, the Toronto Raptors looked to go 2-0 on a back to back, after beating New York last night in overtime. The Orlando Magic are trying to beat the Raptors after beating another top Eastern Conference team in Atlanta. Tonight the game started out slow, and the Raptors trailed in first half, most likely due to the fact of the back to back. The second half was all Toronto as they outscored Orlando 27-13 in the 3rd quarter. Kyle Lowry had 17 points and 8 assists, while Lou Williams chipped in with 18 himself. Tobias Harris scored 18 and Ben Gordon had 16 but it wasn’t enough to keep them in this game.
Analysis: The Toronto Raptors are going to play a couple .500 teams in the next couple of weeks and this would be a good time to take advantage of their schedule, especially with DeMar DeRozan being out. They play Brooklyn, Detroit, and New York next until December 22nd when they play Chicago. If the Toronto Raptors win these next 3 games, it will give them a good cushion before going into the holiday season.
