The Toronto Raptors have sent Lucas “Bebe” Nogueira to their D-League affiliate. Lucas and Bruno Caboclo are both in the D-League team, so now the Toronto Raptors have no rookies on the roster. Both rookies were complete bench warmers and didn’t get any minutes, and both probably playing in less then 5 games.
The Raptors recently called back Bruno Caboclo, but now they are trying to train Nogueria. A HUGE issue for the Toronto Raptors, is establishing their own D-League affiliate, because with their current affiliate, their rookies get no minutes. When Caboclo was in there, he didn’t play for 2 games straight due to a coach’s decision. Obviously something isn’t right there.
Either way the two Brazilians will be in and out of the D-League for a while until they can fully adjust to the NBA game and lifestyle.
