The Toronto Raptors were set at the wing with Terrence Ross and DeMar DeRozan already, and now they add to that by signing 3rd year Small Forward Jordan Hamilton. Hamilton averaged just 6 PPG but most of his points scored were from beyond the arc. Hamilton may not be the most efficient scoring option out there, but he’s shown he can put some nice games together here and there.
Hamilton won’t see a huge minutes increase going from Houston to Toronto, but he can help them hopefully make even more of a playoff push this season by adding depth to their bench.Details on Hamilton’s contract have not been released yet since it’s so late in free agency I can’t help but assume it’s a veterans minimum contract or incentive based.
