North Carolina rapper Rapsody announces new album Eve debuts August 2019, her first album since 2017 release Laila’s Wisdom.
During an interview with ESSENCE Magazine, Rapsody details how her new album celebrates the iconic lives and legacy of Black women. Her album Eve uplifts the Black women she admires.
“It’s more about the village of Black women. I feel like we all have similar experiences and similar stories and very similar inspirations. My last album, that was for me. That was all personal things that, you know, you can listen to and maybe you can relate, but a lot of it was for me.”
